Got request to make a book stand for someone. Saw an example in Peter Follansbee’s book for a traditional book stand, and decided to use that as an template. The stand had to be able to adjust the angle. The wood used was Kiaat.
Decided to make a relatively big box in the style of 16th century with the carved decorations. I also included an inner box, which was called a till at that time, with its own swivel lid.
